A Safety Message from Thorp Arch Trading Estate

There are over 180 businesses on the Thorp Arch Estate employing an estimated 2,000 people. In 2012 the businesses on the Estate formed a Consultative Forum to discuss issues that affect the Estate.

At a meeting of the Consultative Forum on 6 June 2024 concern was raised at young children walking and cycling on the Estate roads due to the number of commercial vehicles and forklifts in operation.

The Forum is keen that the local community continues to be welcome on the Estate but would be grateful if parents could advise their children on the dangers of using the area for leisure purposes.
